Dear Coach Ki, How do I begin to stop limiting beliefs with practicality?
Answer: Meditation on a daily basis for 2-3 minutes (minimum) with the intention to only monitor and later investigate your thinking.
Aim to listen to your thoughts without assigning a negative or positive label to them and when you catch yourself doing so, gently bring yourself back to being the listener through checking into your breathing or heartbeat.
Try writing down everything that comes to mind afterwards as a way to digest the information and ask some of the questions below:
Am I being kind to myself?
Have I already forgiven myself for this?
Do I need to assign meaning to this?
Can I make space to give myself a choice in this?
Does this thought serve me?
Is this a fact or my feelings?
Is this thought true?
Where did this belief come from?
What if it were to all work out in my favor?
Am I counting myself out?
